  • AI SRE Publishes Slides and Design Canvases, Links Answers to Console Pages, and Tunes Channel Noise Reduction

From October 8 to 19, AI SRE gained three new artifact types and console links in its answers. It can also set up a channel's noise reduction, and automations can run inside war rooms and IM chats.

Artifacts: multi-file pages, slides, and design canvases

An artifact used to be one HTML or Markdown file. AI SRE can now publish:

    • Multi-file pages: an HTML page together with its stylesheets, scripts, and images, up to 255 files in one publish.
    • Slides: a deck on a 1920×1080 stage. Arrow keys, Page Up/Down, Space, Home/End, and swipes move between slides, a counter shows the position, and Present goes full screen.
    • Design canvases: several pages laid out as boards on one surface you can pan and zoom, with title headings and colored sticky notes. Clicking a board opens it full window. On screens narrower than 768 px, the boards show as a list.

The artifact gallery also plays video (mp4, webm, mov) and audio (mp3, m4a, wav) files, and shows CSV and TSV files as a table with a sticky header and the first 1000 rows.

    Answers link to console pages

When an answer mentions an incident, alert, channel, schedule, alert rule, dashboard, notification template, postmortem, RUM issue, status page, or integration, AI SRE writes it as a link to that console page. You open the object from the answer instead of searching for its ID.

    Let AI tune noise reduction

On a channel's Noise reduction → Alert grouping and Flapping detection pages, Let AI tune noise reduction opens the AI SRE panel with the channel attached. AI SRE reads the channel's alert history and recommends settings. It only writes alert grouping and flapping detection, and asks before each change with a before/after list. Event aggregation, silence, inhibit, and drop rules get suggestions only. The button shows when the account has AI SRE enabled and you can use AI SRE chat.

Automations in war rooms and IM chats

    • War room created (October 13) is a new automation trigger. Pick channels and severities (Critical by default), and AI SRE runs when a matching war room is created. The run happens in the war room's group chat, and the conclusion is posted there. The preset template War room initial analysis comes with this trigger. It replaces the old IM integration switch for starting AI incident analysis automatically.
    • A rule you create by asking AI SRE in an IM chat (October 16) is bound to that chat. Each run starts a new session in the same chat and posts the result there. Rules created in the console run in the web console as before.

    Better context in IM

    • In a Feishu group with topics, an @ that starts a new topic now reads the group's recent messages: up to the 20 newest from the 10 minutes before the @, images included. A screenshot posted just before someone mentions the bot to ask about it is no longer missed.
    • In DingTalk, the text of a quoted message reaches AI SRE, and quoted pictures are attached.
    • Images, documents, and voice messages from the chat are passed to AI SRE as files, including ones from earlier messages in the thread. Each turn takes up to 5 images, 3 documents, and 3 voice messages.
    • When AI SRE dispatches subagents in an IM chat and hasn't replied yet, it first posts a short note on what it dispatched (October 16).

    Exact values survive context compaction

In a long session, AI SRE compacts older context to stay within the model's limit. From October 19, it can search the original messages and tool results that compaction replaced. It can still quote an exact ID, hostname, threshold, or error string from earlier, and it says so when the original doesn't contain a value.

    Get started

Go to Flashduty console → AI SRE. Automations are under Automations, and the noise reduction button is on each channel's Noise reduction pages.
